After 6 - 11 years of emotional abuse, how long does it take for confidence to be restored?

This kind of abuse is such a hard one to get over but it sounds like you are trying and have a positive attitude so I think the Lord is working in your life right now and it won't take as long as you may think. I also hope you will never call yourself dumb again and call yourself smart instead cause I think you are going to do fine. God will get you thru this.
