Did i get banned for life on ps3. ?

I got banned yesterday around 1 pm which I think is for calling someone a retarded b**** and a stupid w**re. It said 'you can no longer use PlayStation Network with this account' an gave me error code 8002A231. I'm really scared because I haven't received an email telling me how long the ban is. I feel like such an idiot saying that. I had so many friends on that account. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!! :(
