A much darker, realistic and adult film adaption of Batman?

I am a huge Batman fan and have been from a very early age. I loved Tim Burton's versions of Batman, and love Chris Nolan's version. I really don't like light hearted, camp, and funny versions of Batman, I especially don't like them when they are completely unrealistic. Yes I know Batman is a superhero but he is a dark one. Would anybody else love to see an adult, darker, and more realistic version of Batman on film, now of course not grotesquely violent, but just the right amount, not appealing to the child Batman fans, being able to really showcase the evil of characters such as the Joker. Does anyone think this would be a good thing like myself?
